Australian Short Course Championships - Day 1

Having travelled across to Perth earlier in the week the Surrey
Park team battled through the first day of competition.
Sian Whittaker secured a semi finals berth in the 100m Backstroke
and Phil Butcher also made it through to the semis in the 100m
Butterfly. Phil went on during the evening session to secure
a spot in the final to be swum on Thursday night. Having
narrowly missed a spot in the 200m butterfly final, Jemma Schlicht
went on to win the 'B Final' in the evening session.
