A group of Surrey Park High Performance Squad swimmers plus Director of Coaching Matt Brown and Team Manager Ada Wang have left for China to train at one of the country's foremost high altitude training facilities Kunming Haigeng Physical Training Base.

Located in the city of Kunming, Yunnan and occupying an area of 410,000m² around Lake Dianchi, Kunming Haigeng Physical Training Base, is the largest Sports Training Center in China. Sitting 1888m above sea level, in addition to giving the opportunity for high performance, leisure and sports interchange, it is also the training centre for the Chinese Olympic Team.
