Good luck to the 65 swimmers representing Surrey Park at Metro East’s All Junior Selection Trials to be held at Aquanation, Ringwood, on Sunday 19th February.
Please find below some important information regarding the meet.
Timeline and Program
Swimmers aged 11 to 14 years swim in Session 1 which starts at 1pm (pool entry and warm up from 12 noon); those aged 10 years and under swim in Session 2 which will start around 4.30pm.

All swimmers are required to wear a NAVY Surrey Park logo cap when competing; these can be purchased through Surrey Park reception.
In addition, swimmers are reminded to wear their Surrey Park polo shirt plus plain navy shorts or track pants.
What To Bring
The meet is indoors and it’s unlikely to be cold. Please remember to bring plenty of water and some healthy snacks; also a spare towel.
Swimmers should be at the pool 60 minutes prior to their first swim. On arrival, they need to touch base with their coach for instructions. Warm up for Session 1 is from 12 noon. There will only be a short break between sessions.
Surrey Park swimmers and supporters should all sit together in the grandstand.
Coaches will be located on pool deck during this meet.
Warm Down, Talking to Coaches
All swimmers must see their coaches prior to each race, then again at the completion of each race.
Surrey Park is required to fill 5 timekeeping seats for Session 1, then 3 seats for Session 2.
