Surrey Park has 57 swimmers entered in individual events at Metro East's District Championships to be held at Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Waverley Rd, Glen Waverley on Sunday 5th March. The Club has also entered a number of relay teams.

Relays

Swimmers should check this listing to confirm the teams they will be swimming in.

Club Uniform
All swimmers are required to wear a NAVY Surrey Park logo cap when competing; these can be purchased through Surrey Park reception.
In addition, swimmers are reminded to wear their Surrey Park polo shirt plus plain navy shorts or track pants.
What To Bring
The meet is outdoors and Melbourne's weather can be changeable, so please remember to bring along something warm to wear in case it is needed.
Competitors and spectators will need to bring a chair or rug to sit on. Surrey Park will be setting up its team tent to provide shelter and shade.
Please remember to bring plenty of water and healthy snacks. If staying all day, you will also need lunch.
Also remember to bring sunscreen plus a spare towel.
Arrival
On arrival, swimmers should check in with their coach. Warm up for Session 1 is from 8am. There will only be a short lunch break between sessions.
Seating
Surrey Park swimmers and supporters should all aim to sit together on the grassed area.
Coaches
Coaches will be based on pool deck beside the indoor pool during this meet.
Warm Down, Talking to Coaches
All swimmers must see their coaches prior to, then again at the completion of each race.
Roster of Parent Helpers
Surrey Park is required to fill 6 timekeeping seats for Sessions 1 and 2, then 4 seats for Session 3. The Club is also assisting with distribution of water and snacks to officials over the morning. The roster of parent helpers is posted HERE
