Membership & Training Fees

There are two financial aspects to becoming a member of Kings Swim Club – membership and training fees.
 
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Paid annually for the period 1 July to 30 Jun.
 
Membership Fees includes Swimming Victoria membership, eligibility to compete at swim meets, personal injury insurance, revenue for athlete development programs and resources, club administration costs and social events throughout the year. Membership also entitles you to access a range of member benefits including discounts from Funky Trunks, Funkita and Arena. 
 
*Membership Fees effective 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020
 
Squad Members 8 years and under $211 p.a.
Squad Members 9 to 15 years $223 p.a.
Squad Members 16 and over $208 p.a.

Membership renewal is in July of each year. All Squad Members, Parents, Coaches, Committee Members and Officials need to be registered by the due date (usually the end of July). All existing existing Squad Members will receive an email from Swimming Victoria at the beginning of July. The link provided in the email will take you directly to your registration renewal. Please ensure your contact information in Swim Central and TeamUnify is up to date.

New Squad Members are able to register, complete and pay their Membership Fee through Swim Central at any time throughout the year. Enter Metro South as the region and Kings Swim Club as the club.

Please note: Swimming Victoria requires the parent or guardian of any squad member under 18 years age to hold a Dry Membership ($10). Please ensure this is selected. There is also a 1.5% processing fee included at checkout.

Pro-rata fees will be applied for new members from 1 April to 30 June.

TRAINING FEES
Paid on the 15th of each month via direct debit with Kingswim.
 
Training fees covers lane hire, coaches salaries and their attendance at swim meets, pool maintenance and any other costs associated with the wet area of the pool. Training fees are calculated for the year and divided into equal monthly repayments.

Bronze $135 p.m.
Silver $145 p.m.
Gold $170 p.m.
 
These fees are administered through KingSwim on behalf of Kings Swim Club via direct debit. Direct Debit Authorisation Forms can be collected from any KingSwim Learning to Swim Centre. All payments are processed on the 15th of each month.  If a direct debit payment is dishonoured, all bank fees and charges incurred will be passed on.
 
Training fees must be paid up to date at all times for a Squad Member to continue training.

We also offer a Silver Fitness (2 sessions per week) option to existing Squad Members for $102.50 per month. This options is designed to support our Squad Members through VCE committments or injury rehablitation and is not available to new Squad Members. Squad Members must discuss this with the Head Coach.

For new members, complete a Direct Debit form for your monthly training fees at any KingSwim Learning to Swim Centre and nominate which training sessions you are likely to be attending.
